D75 - iPAD Accessibility for Visually Impaired and Blind Students

The iPad has been an amazing tool to provide visually impaired and blind students access to the school curriculum. These features include screen magnification, contrast adjustment, text to speech, and braille translation. There are also several features that are beneficial even though they were not specifically designed to provide accessibility. This session will also look at apps that can assist visually impaired and blind students to complete their classwork.
